Carlo Caffarra

Carlo Caffarra, born on 1 June 1938 in Busseto, in the locality of Samboseto, was an authoritative Italian cardinal and Catholic archbishop. His figure stands as a point of reference in the ecclesiastical and cultural landscape of the country.

During his lifetime, he dedicated his work to pastoral ministry and to activity within ecclesiastical institutions, carrying out his high offices with dedication until his death, which occurred in September 2017.
